To secure a position in the United Kingdom as an overseas nurse and midwives outside the EEA, all nurses have to meet the following requirements:

 

• Hold a nursing or midwife school qualification that was completed in not less than three years of full time studies.

• Hold a valid nursing or midwife license in your home or/and practising country

• Have at least twelve months full time post studies working experience

• A minimum score of 7.0 in each component and an overall average score of 7.0 in the IELTS exam.

• Be successful in a computer base competence test

• Be successful in a clinical observation assessment

 

In order for a candidate to apply with us, he/she should meet the first three requirements. Vision Nursing Recruitment commits to guide and support all her candidates to meet the last three requirements and find a suitable sponsor for their employment. We run tutorial sessions to assist our nurses and midwives go through the fifth and sixth requirements successfully. These tutorials are delivered by qualified and experienced nurses from the UK.

Once you make a firm decision to take your career to a higher level by registering with us, we advise that you register to take the IELTS exam with the British Council as soon as possible, as this is a rate determining step based on the limited exam dates and the large volume of candidates applying to write the IELTS each month.

 

The Job Contract

All job contracts are signed between our candidates and the facility employing them. Vision Nursing Recruitment facilitates the process by building confidence on both sides. We act as a liaison between the two in negotiating suitable terms and conditions in the best interest of both parties.
